  • Ex-prisoners of war.
  • Veterans who served in Japan (1945–1946) or with the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (1946–1952).
  • Veterans with certain Disability Compensation Payments.
  • Veterans receiving a Service Pension who meet income or health criteria.
  • Veterans under the MRCA (Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act) with:
    • At least 60 points for service-related injuries.
    • Eligibility for the Special Rate Disability Pension (SRDP).
